Senator Torrey Westrom grew up on a dairy farm and currently represents District 12 in the Minnesota Senate. He is the ranking minority member on the agriculture, veterans, broadband and rural development committee; and also serves on the judiciary and public safety committee. He was originally elected to the House in 1996 and served 8 terms. In 2012 he was elected to the Senate and is currently serving his 4th term.
