Representative Rick Hansen was raised on a family farm in Freeborn County and currently represents District 53B in the Minnesota House of Representatives. He is co-chair of the agriculture finance and policy committee with Rep. Anderson, and sits on the capital investment and environment and natural resources finance and policy committees. Rep Hansen  was elected to office in 2004 and is currently serving his 11th term.
